Vuelven Boyz II Men - Boyz II Men's return

Boyz II Men es el grupo de R&B de mas exito de la historia de la musica en Estados Unidos (declarado asi por la RIAA - Recording Industry Association of America). Su exito "End of the Road" fue lanzado como sencillo de la banda sonora de la pelicula "Boomerang" y se convirtio en uno de los mayores éxitos en la historia musical. "End of the Road" paso 13 semanas en el numero uno en las listas pop, una increíble racha que rompió el record de 11 semanas de Elvis Presley habia mantenido desde 1956 con "Hound Dog".

El 25 de Octubre salio al mercado TWENTY, el nuevo CD de Boyz II Men, para mi gran alegria!! Creci escuchando a Boyz II Men gracias a que era uno de los grupos favoritos de mis hermanos. TWENTY es un doble disco que incluye en su segundo CD los exitos del grupo y el primero viene con canciones nuevas. La critica lo ha recibido con opiniones variadas - algunos piensan que podria haber sido un poco mejor y otros piensan que viene con el sonido clasico del grupo - pero yo estoy dispuesta a escucharlo una y otra vez porque me fascinan las voces de estos chicos y cierta musica forma parte de la banda sonora de nuestra vida. Boyz II Men is the most successful R & B group in the history of music in America (declared so by the RIAA -  the Recording Industry Association of America). Their hit song "End of the Road" was released as a single for the soundtrack of the movie "Boomerang" and became one of the biggest hits in music history. "End of the Road" spent 13 weeks at number one on the pop charts, an incredible run that broke the record of 11 weeks Elvis Presley had held since 1956 with "Hound Dog".

To my great joy, TWENTY (Boyz II Men's new CD) was released on October 25. I grew up listening to Boyz II Men because it was one of my brothers' favorite bands. TWENTY is a double album that includes in its second CD the group's hits and the first CD includes new songs. The album has received mixed reviews - some think it could have been a little better and others think that  it brings the classic sound of the group - but I'm willing to listen again and again because I am fascinated by their voices and some music is part of the soundtrack of our lives.
