Bienvenidos!! - Welcome!!

Lo primero que quiero decir es que os escribo estas lineas desde mi portatil americano. Que significa eso? Que no puedo acentuar, pero puedo prometer y prometo que recuerdo muy bien las reglas gramaticales aprendidas en mi mas tierna infancia.


Lo segundo que quiero explicar es el por que del titulo de mi blog. "Veni Vidi Vici" es una frase en latin con la que me siento muy identificada. Se traduce "Llegue, vi, venci" y se utiliza habitualmente para describir la rapidez con la que se ha hecho algo con exito. En el 2002 llegue y vi Estados Unidos. Aunque no me atreveria a decir que venci - porque prefiero pensar que la vida es una aventura continua donde nunca llegaste a un final - si siento que fue aqui donde me encontre a mi misma tanto a nivel personal como profesional. Y eso, en si mismo, es una gran victoria.

The first thing that I want to say is that I write this from my laptop. What does that mean? That there are no tildes here, but I promise that I remember all the grammatical rules learn during my sweet childhood.

Second, I'd like to explain the reason behind the name of my blog. "Veni Vidi Vici" is a Latin sentence that I identify with very much. It means "I came, I saw, I conquered" and it is usually used to describe the speed with which something was done successfully. In 2002 I came and saw the U.S. I would not dare to think that I conquered anything - because I like to think that life is an ongoing adventure where you never reach an end - but I feel that it was here where I found myself, both personally and professionally speaking. And that alone is a great victory.
